When dry, it should be a fairly easy drive with some sandy patches along the creek bed which would be a lovely camping area.

An enjoyable 50km track through the park with diverse scenery and not as prone to high visitor numbers as some nearby attractions. Some nice camping places but no facilities which makes it more natural.

Great place to visit close to Alice Springs, the 4WD track is approx 50km long was interesting to drive in the wet with some long deep boggy sections. Stopped for lunch under the magnificent red-gums along the Hugh River camping area and luckily decided not to stay since the river flooded that very night, closing access to the road, park and adjacent areas.
