I turned up unannounced towards closing time with a fuse issue with the car. One of the guys checked it out on the spot, and repaired it while I waited. Incredibly good service and very reasonable priced.

The guys here are fantastic. I was only in Alice overnight, and they were fully booked for several days, but they were still able to help out and fix the problem with my deep cycle battery connection first thing in the morning. Thank-you, gentlemen, you are truly magnificent.

Wanted my 12v system checked out. 2 hours later still couldn't tell me if my 3 way fridge was working via the car when driving or the battery in the van. I have a lithium battery and needed a DC charger which they would sell me for anywhere up to $2k and then charge $115 per hour to install. Found another one that had the lithium charger capability via alternator and mppt controller for solar input and perhaps to put in heavier wiring on the van for the alternator charging via separate andersen plug. Booked in to have an andersen plug put on the van for the solar input to the charger and the DC charger mounted and wired in. Initial estimate was about 3 hours work for around $700, if it was going to be more they'd let me know. Arrived before 8am and finally left around 5.30pm. They'd had some problems I was told but not what the problems were. The DC charger needed to be programmed for the lithium battery to charge. Towards the end of the day several staff members had had a go and apart from changing the battery type to lithium didn't do much more than that. I was told that the battery was charging via the alternator and the solar. When packing up I found my 12v outlets in the van weren't working but had been prior to them starting work. Yes they fixed it but shouldn't have had to. Went to pay the bill and was hit for $1300+. Not happy. Paid and left, after all what can you do? Two days on the road and I lost 12v power in the van. Clearly the battery was not charging via the alternator and I had solar plugged in for two days and that was clearly not charging. Not happy. Had to plug into generator to get power into the battery. So from my point of view I paid a significant sum of money to have work done which is not working and will now need to have someone else check it out as I am no longer in Alice Springs. I will also be talking to the manufacturers of the DC charger I bought. I've given a one star rating simply because they were polite. Would I recommend them? No and that is as a direct result of my experience.

We had a problem with our battery charger on the caravan. The owner spent 20 min diagnosing the problem (a loose wire) and fixing it. This involved going under the caravan
