    I was doing a 100,000 km service on my vehicle. I had already ordered the timing belt kit and water pump from online vendors to save a couple hundred dollars. I later realized that I needed some gaskets and miscellaneous parts from AS Auto Products. I phoned them to see if they had the parts on hand. The person on the phone was curious as to where I got my parts from so I told them I purchased them online. From that point he stated "If you ordered your parts online you don't need me. Goodbye!" ~Click~ My guess is this mom and pop shop can't compete with internet vendors and is feeling the squeeze.
